Procedures page

The Procedures page lists procedure templates (reusable checklists) in your workspace. You can organize them in folders, search, filter, create or edit them, then link them to tickets later.

info

This help covers the templates management page. Using a procedure on a ticket (checking tasks, notes, history) happens from the ticket profile, not this page.

Prerequisites

  • You must be signed in to Sequentia.
  • A workspace must be selected.
  • Permission to manage procedures:
    • Procedures menu link appears only if you have it;

With no procedures or folders in the workspace, the page shows the Procedures welcome card:

  • Add a procedure button → opens create dialog (after permission check).

Organize with folders

At top: All (root), then parent folders to current folder.

  • Click All: return to root.
  • Click a breadcrumb folder: open that level.
  • You can drop a dragged procedure or folder onto a breadcrumb item (including All) to move it.

  • Add a folder tile → Add a folder dialog: name (2 to 31 characters), Confirm button.
  • Each folder: folder icon, name, pencil to edit.
  • Click a folder: enter that folder.

Edit / delete a folder

The Edit your folder dialog lets you rename or delete.

  • Delete refused if subfolders or procedures remain inside: Cannot delete with matching explanation.
  • Otherwise, confirm Are you sure you want to delete {name}?

Folders and breadcrumb

    • Procedures group;
    • No results if nothing matches.

Click a folder in suggestions: open that folder. Click a procedure: open edit dialog.

In-app help

On the Procedures page, the header help menu opens this topic.

What this page does not do

  • Check tasks or track a procedure on a ticket: ticket profile.
  • Show archived procedures in the main list.

To confirm with product

  • Search suggestions group label for procedures: confirm whether Procedures is the desired label.
  • Folder name length error (“between 3 and 31”) vs actual validation (confirm from 2 characters) — align message and rules.
  • From search, opening a folder updates local display but does not update the address like a grid folder click — confirm expected behavior.
  • Linking a procedure to a ticket and tracking checked tasks are not handled on this page; document in ticket help if needed.
