Ticket profile — header and actions

This help describes the toolbar at the top of the ticket profile (view / edit dialog): time tracking, status, estimated duration, access to the linked work document, and the actions menu (help, archive, information, notifications, transfer, favorites, document, link).

info

This help applies to the ticket profile, opened from a board, the Favorite tickets page, search, a work document, or a notification — not only from favorites.

Ticket profile header

Prerequisites

  • Signed in to Sequentia (normal account or, on a public board, guest / anonymous per board settings).
  • A workspace must be selected.
  • Open an existing ticket.

Some actions require workspace permissions (or anonymous permissions on a public board):

ActionPermission / condition
Change statusPermission to edit a ticket; disabled if ticket is read-only, archived, or (guest) if status change is not allowed
Edit estimated durationPermission to edit a ticket; ticket not archived, not read-only; (guest) equivalent anonymous permission
ArchivePermission to archive a ticket; ticket not already archived
Information (activities / log)Permission to view activity log (never for public guest)
Link a work documentPermission to manage work documents; no document already linked; profile not opened from a document
Open linked document (full edit)Permission to manage work documents; otherwise opens the document’s ticket view
Time tracking, notifications, favorites, transferHidden for public guest; time tracking also hidden if ticket is read-only

Open the profile

The ticket profile opens typically by clicking a ticket from:

  • a board (columns, list, map, by user, etc.);
  • the Favorite tickets page;
  • ticket search;
  • a work document;
  • a notification.

Open from a board

Below the header, the profile shows ticket details (title, description, assignment, etc.) and the messages panel. This page documents only the header and its menu.

Header content

The bar color follows the ticket’s current status color on the board.

Time tracking (play / pause)

  • Circular play / pause button on the left.
  • Visible only if the ticket is not read-only and you are not a public guest.
  • Starts, pauses, or toggles your time activity on this ticket (only one activity at a time in time tracking).

Cumulative time and estimated duration

Visible on large screens (width ≥ 576 px) and if the ticket is not read-only:

ElementBehavior
Time shownCumulative time spent on the ticket (updated from time tracking).
Estimated durationAfter /: saved value, or placeholder --h --m if none yet.
Pencil iconIf you can edit: opens Estimated duration popover; Done button to close.
Progress barRatio cumulative time / estimated duration (color from green toward red as ratio rises).

Time and estimated duration

Status selector

  • Shows current status; lets you pick another board status (“next status” option enabled).
  • Disabled if: read-only, ticket archived, no edit permission, or (guest) status change not allowed.

Linked work document

  • If a document is linked and the profile was not opened from that document: button like [document label] #[no.] (label per workspace settings, e.g. work document / work order).
  • Click: closes ticket profile and opens the document (full edit if you manage work documents, otherwise the document’s ticket view).
  • Pending chip if document status is pending.
  • Chevron down button: opens the actions menu described below.
  • Close (X) button: closes the profile.

What this header does not do

  • Create a ticket: see Create a ticket.
  • Edit title, description, assignment, messages, etc.: profile body below the header (outside this help).
  • Restore an archived ticket: no restore action in this menu.

In-app help

In the header menu (chevron), Help opens help for the ticket profile.

To confirm with product

  • Menu label stays Notifications whether the ticket is muted or not (only the icon changes). Confirm whether a distinct label like “Enable / Disable notifications” is needed.
  • On small screens (< 576 px), cumulative time / estimated duration in the header is hidden (time tracking shows time in the circle). Confirm whether another mobile layout is desired.
  • After Link to [document], the header may update automatically; confirm expected user flow (stay on profile vs open document).
  • Toggling notifications back on has no dedicated mirror message in history. Confirm desired label / log entry.
