Equipments page
The Equipments page lets you organize, browse, and manage equipment in the selected workspace: folders, active records, archives, an activity report (tickets / time), and vehicle-related settings.
This help covers the list page. The equipment picker used elsewhere has its own help: Choose an equipment.

Prerequisites
- You must be signed in to Sequentia.
- A workspace must be selected.
- The Maintenance module must be enabled on the workspace — otherwise the menu item is hidden.
- You need permission to manage equipment: without it, the menu and access to the page are blocked.
- Your plan must include the Equipment feature — otherwise access may be refused based on the workspace billing status.
| Element | Condition |
|---|---|
| Equipments menu | Maintenance module + permission to manage equipment + Equipment feature included in the plan |
| Equipment / Archived / Report segments | Visible as soon as the page opens |
| Settings gear (header) | Permission to manage equipment (already required to reach the page) |
| Add a folder / Add an equipment | Equipment segment only |
| Drag-and-drop folder / equipment | Equipment segment only |
| Archive / restore from the profile | Handled in the edit dialog (permission to archive equipment for the archive icon) — outside the scope of this page |
Open the page
- In the navigation menu, click Equipments — the link appears only when the Maintenance module and permission are present.
- Or open the Equipments page directly from an internal link.
- A direct link to a folder opens that folder once folders are loaded; an unknown folder returns to the root.
- From the equipment picker, Manage my equipment can also redirect here (see Choose an equipment).
While equipment or folders load (and archives when that segment is opened), a loading screen replaces the content.

Segments
Equipment
Segment label: Equipment. Shows folders at the current level and non-archived equipment in that folder (including at the root).
Archived
Label: Archived. Loads archived equipment the first time you open this segment, then lists them all (no folder navigation). Section title: Archived Equipments. If none: No archived equipments. No add actions and no drag-and-drop.
Report
Label: Report. Available when at least one active equipment exists. Shows the report (period, presets, ticket / time stats). Without active equipment, the page empty state is shown instead.

Search
Placeholder: Equipment or Folder...
Equipment and Archived segments (navigation mode)
- Type a term: a dropdown list appears.
- Folders results: match on folder name → click opens that folder (breadcrumb updates).
- Equipments results: match on name, nickname, brand, model, serial number, or vehicle plate → click navigates to the equipment’s folder (if needed) and opens the edit dialog.
- No matches: No results.
Equipment search uses the active list, not archives. On the Archived segment, the bar still navigates active records — see To confirm with product.
Report segment (filter mode)
- Typing filters the report list (name, nickname, brand, model, serial number, plate; accent- and case-insensitive).
- No navigation dropdown is shown in filter mode.

Organize with folders
Visible only on the Equipment segment.
Breadcrumb
- All: root.
- Each opened folder appears next; clicking a crumb goes back to that level.
- You can drop equipment or a folder onto a breadcrumb (including All) to move it.
Create a folder
- Click Add a folder.
- Add a folder dialog: enter a Name (placeholder Folder name; UI length: 2 to 31 characters).
- Confirm saves the folder at the current level.
Open, edit, or delete a folder
- Click the folder: enter it.
- Pencil icon: Modify your folder dialog (rename).
- Delete (trash icon in the dialog): allowed only if the folder has no subfolders and no equipment. Otherwise, Unable to delete with the matching message.

Manage equipment (list)
Grid and list views
Icon selector list / grid (default: grid), disabled while loading.
| View | Typical content |
|---|---|
| Grid | Cards with title, image (or default illustration), arrows when multiple images |
| List | Rows with thumbnail, name, image arrows if needed, reorder handle |
The displayed name is the nickname if set, otherwise the name (may be truncated on smaller screens).
Add equipment
On the Equipment segment: Add an equipment card or row (or the empty-state button). Opens the create dialog; after confirmation, equipment is created in the current folder.
Open a record
Clicking a card / row opens the equipment edit dialog (information, images, procedures, notes, archive, and more — detail outside this page).
Browse images
If there are several images: previous / next arrows (on large screens in grid view, often on hover; on mobile, whenever there is more than one image). The starred primary image is used as the starting point when set.
Reorganize with drag-and-drop
Equipment segment only:
- Equipment: hold the reorder handle, then drag onto a folder, a breadcrumb crumb, or All.
- Folder: drag the folder row onto another folder or All to change its parent.
Without permission to manage equipment, the update is refused (the page already requires this permission).

Empty state
If the workspace has no active equipment and no folders:
- Welcome card Equipments with intro text and Add an equipment.
The same card appears on Report when there is no active equipment.

Report
When the Report segment is active and active equipment exists:
- Choose a period (date range picker).
- The table computes, for each listed equipment, ticket amount and time from activities in the period linked to those tickets.
- Columns: Image, Name, Ticket Amount (hidden on very small screens), Time (
Xh Ymformat). - Cyclic sort (none → ascending → descending) on Name, Ticket Amount, or Time via the sort icon.
- Click a row: opens the equipment dialog.
- Eye icon next to ticket count: list of related tickets; next to time: activity details.
- Infinite scroll: batches of 15 equipment items.
- Report gear: Equipment Report Settings (presets / default equipment / user favorite) — detail outside this page.
Header search filters the displayed list (see above). A user favorite preset may be applied on open.

Equipment settings
Gear button next to search (page header):
- Opens Equipment Settings.
- Description: select users who will be notified to enter vehicle counter values.
- Multi-select avatar list (Users to ask to enter the counter value).
- Confirm saves to workspace settings and closes; close (X) dismisses without saving.

What this page does not do
- Pick equipment for a ticket / procedure / document: use the dedicated picker (Choose an equipment).
- Fully document the edit dialog (procedures, parts, notes, vehicle, log): separate dialog opened from the list or report.
- Manage procedures or the calendar: other modules.
- Show archives inside the folder tree: archives are a flat list with no breadcrumb.
In-app help
On the Equipments page, the header help menu opens this topic. Help title: Help - Equipments.
To confirm with product
- The French search placeholder shows Équipment (spelling). Confirm whether it should be Équipement.
- The folder length error message mentions 3 to 31 characters, while the interface allows from 2 characters. Confirm the business rule.
- On the Archived segment, search stays in navigation mode over active equipment (it does not filter the archived list). Confirm the intended behavior.
- Deleting a non-empty folder seems blocked in the current interface. Confirm the desired product flow for clearing / deleting a non-empty folder.
- Permission to archive equipment controls the archive icon in the profile, while archiving also checks permission to manage equipment. Confirm product intent (two permissions vs one).
- The French segment label is Équipement (singular) while the section title and menu use Équipements. Confirm whether the segment should be plural.
