Calendar page

The Calendar page shows events in the selected workspace. You can switch views (Month / Week / Day), filter what is shown, create an event by clicking the grid, then view or edit an existing event.

info

Labels like work document (and variants) may depend on your workspace configuration. The app uses the label set in workspace settings.

DurationAdjustable (except all-day mode)

Recurring eventDaily / weekly / monthly / yearly, interval, end (never / after N occurrences / on a date)

Linked ticketLink a ticket (non-recurring); for recurring: Create a template for recurring tickets
ColorDisplay color in grid

Dialog footer:

  • Create (new event) or Save (edit).
  • Trash icon: confirm Confirm deletion / “Are you sure you want to delete this event?”.
note

On this page, a ticket is not required to create an event. Ticket requirement applies in other contexts (e.g. a board’s calendar view).

Useful validation rules

  • Missing or too-short title, invalid dates, end before start → validation error alert.
  • Recurrence + ticket template: at least one reminder with create ticket enabled.
  • Reminder being edited but not saved: confirmation before continuing.

View and edit an event

  1. Click an event in the grid (not empty cell).
  2. Details panel opens: times (or All day), creator, description, linked ticket, participants, location (if set), recurrence.
  3. Pencil icon → reopens edit form.
  4. Close with X.

For a recurring event on edit: alert that individual occurrences cannot yet be edited separately; choose Cancel or All occurrences.

Event details panel

Filter events

Open Filter menu (funnel button).

Event visibility

OptionLabelEffect
My eventsMy eventsKeeps private events (yours) and workspace events where you are a participant
PrivatePrivateOnly events marked private
AllAllRemoves “my events” filter; also shows participant filter

Filter by participants

Visible only if visibility is All:

  • Avatar list of workspace members.
  • As soon as participant selection changes, visibility switches to All.
  • An event is kept if it has at least one selected participant, or if its creator is in the selection.

On page open, your user is already in participant selection (filter active even in My events). Reset button clears that selection.

Filter by work document

  1. Select a work document.
  2. Choose a document in the dialog.
  3. X icon to remove filter.

Events without a consistent link to that document (via linked ticket) are excluded.

Filter by equipment

  1. Select equipment.
  2. Confirm in dialog.
  3. X to remove.

Keeps only events whose linked ticket points to that equipment.

Reset

Reset button: visibility → My events, participants / equipment / work document cleared.

Filter menu

Events in the grid

  • Background / border color = event color.
  • Time (or all-day indication) + truncated title.
  • Recurrence icon if event is recurring.
  • In Day view, description excerpt may appear if event lasts more than one hour.

What this page does not do

  • Sync Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar: configured in user profile, not on main calendar.
  • Show a board ticket calendar view: boards / tickets context, not this page.
  • Filter by board from Filter menu (option not exposed on this page currently).
  • Require a dedicated module or business permission to see Calendar menu.

In-app help

On the Calendar page, the header help menu opens this topic.

The Add an event dialog has no separate dedicated help: help stays on the calendar page while you are there.

To confirm with product

  • Mobile note: text sometimes says “Tap a ticket to create an event…” while no ticket list appears on the page. Confirm expected text (e.g. “Tap a day / time slot”).
  • Delete button visible for a new event (before save). Confirm whether it should be hidden until saved.
  • Participant filter always initialized with signed-in user: confirm whether, in My events, this double filter is intended, or selection should clear outside All mode.
  • Board filter never exposed on this page: confirm whether to add it.
  • Edit single occurrence of recurring event: message “cannot yet be modified” — confirm product roadmap.
  • No dedicated business permission for events (unlike other modules): confirm whether create / edit / delete roles are planned.
